Did you know you can scan a document from your iPhone with your NOTES app?
To scan documents on your iPhone, go the Home screen and open Notes.

Tap the NEW NOTE icon at the bottom right on your screen to create a new note.

Once your new note page is open, press the CAMERA icon in middle bottom of screen.

You will then get a menu that pops up – choose SCAN DOCUMENT.

This should launch your phone’s camera. When the camera detects the document you want to scan, it will highlight it in a white frame on your screen… on the screen. Once you align the outline of your scan, press the KEEP SCAN command on bottom right to capture and “scan” the document.

The “scan” is then saved as a new note on your phone. After saving the image file, you can use it just as you would a normal scanned document. Open it in your Mail app and attach it to an email, or send it in a text message. Whatever you need it for, you can take comfort in knowing that you didn’t have to go out and buy a clunky scanner as we work from home.

Wow! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a entirely different subject but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Wonderful choice of colors!
